So my camera and I have been on our travels again, and this time I was looking at decay. 

I particularly love the breakdown of the structures and the colours, which i find interesting with regards to colour combinations.

I love decay, as its part of the natural process of the world, and I when I think of Autumn and those fabulous oranges and browns.

As soon as something is created it starts decaying.

I am particulary intrigued by the decay of metal commonly known as rust, so I headed down to the river to see the loosing battle of metal, wood and brick against the elements.

I love the richness of the reds and oranges of the rust:




This rusted railing, not only shows the different colours, but also the layers of metal that was used to create it:



How beautiful does it look?

I particularly like the look of this railing, with the rusting, and it looks like some spiders have made a home out of this structure.  The warping makes it equally interesting from a colour point of view.



I came across this structure, which looks like some kind of gate or lock I just love the levels of decay of the brick, wood and metal.
