It's weird that under normal circumstances I am not a great fan of black gemstones, so imagine my surprise when I visited my favourite spiritual gemstone shop in Liverpool, and had a basket full of Shungite, Obsidian and Black Tourmaline gemstones?

I had seen these Obsidian Arrowhead gemstone in an Instagram feed back in February this year, and even though I visited the shop twice I completely forgot about them.

During my latest visit, I remembered to ask about them, and she had two sizes,alarge ones, which would make fabulous pendants and smaller ones which I thought would make cute earrings.

At the time of buying I really was not sure how I was going to wire wrap them, but I knew I wanted them to be elegant and simple to show of the unique cuts of the gemstone, and me being me they also needed to be unique in their own way.

As to the earrings, should I go for a matching pair, or just create an asymmetrical set?

Questions, questions, questions.....

Obsidian is truth enhancing gemstone.  A strongly protective stone which form a shield against negativity.  It blocks psychic attack and absorbed negative energy from the environment.
