Handmade Sterling Silver Black Onyx Earrings Collection
So as you may have read recently, I am going through a black gemstone phase, which is quite unusual, as I am not normally a fan of the colour black.
I had seen these some absolutely stunning Black Onyx gemstones, in one of my suppliers Instagram feed.
At the time I did not think anything of them, and it was onlylast month when I saw them again, I thought how sleek and sexy they were, that they would make some fabulous earrings and pendants.
Unfortunately they had sold out, as they were really unusual, but I my supplier had some teardrop black onyx beads, which I thought I could still make some gorgeous dangle earrings with
Black Onyx is predominately a protection gemstone, that is said to be able to absorb and transform negative energy, defending the wearer against any negativity directed at them, as well as assisting in banishing negative people from one's life, and preventing the loss of personal energy.
I have made seven pairs of earring with these gemstones, and paired them with quartz and amethyst, to gie them a different interest and edge to the design, here are my favourite 4:
