When I design earrings, I like to go for organic and raw gemstones, as I feel this creates a different kind of interest and beauty in my designs, as life is not perfect, so why should my jewellery be?

I came across two types of natural raw green quartz gemstones, when I visited a Rock n Gemstone show in Harrogate earlier this year.

I had a number of ideas of how was the best way to incorporate them into my handmade jewellery designs, and although I have made a couple of earrings with onyx, I had not got any further, until now.

I just want to show off their natural raw beauty, so I kept the designs clean and classic.

I also decided not to try and match them, creating a set of asymmetric earrings.

Quartz is known as THE master healer and will amplify energy and thought, as well as the effect of other crystals.
