Joolzery, what have you done?????
Joolzery, what have you done?????
So some of you may have noticed that I have been a little quiet on the jewellery making front.....
Well for those who may have been worried, that something serious has happened, like all my creativity has gone out the window, not to worry, this is not the case.
I have just had one of those periods in my life of
"Be careful what you wish for....."
As most of you know Joolzery, started in July 2013, originally as an online business, but then destiny had other plans, and I started doing craft fairs.
Over the year my experience of doing these craft fairs has been a mixed bag, some good, some bad and some down right awful, and as such I started thinking and putting into action a plan to start my own arts & craft fair.
As luck would have it, one of my regular craft fairs' organiser was leaving and it was a choice of letting the fair die, or someone taking it over. After talking to a number of regular stall holders, it became clear that although they wanted the fair to carry on, they did not want to take on the responsibility of running it.
And taking the words of Richard Branson:
"If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you're not sure you can do it, say yes - then learn how to do it later."
So I ran with it, and formed a collective of artisans, called The Artisan Collective (@Artisan_Collect) who saw my vision of what I wanted to create, based on our previous negative experiences of being stall holders of other craft fairs, plus this fair had its own challenges, and we have had to make some changes.
We decided to do some things differently, for the benefit of all the stall holders, but of course as in life in general, people hate change and we got some resistance, but we decided that if you are not part of the solution, you would not be part of our problem.
When plan A didn't work it didn't matter as there was always a plan B, C, D, just itching to get out and join the party!
We are all pulling and working hard together collectively to make our re-launch of the Artisan Market on the 28th June @TheFlorrie a huge success, for the benefit of all.
We are working on the mantra:
"Good Things Come To Those Who Work Their Asses
Off & Never Give Up!"
Off & Never Give Up!"
And so far the synchronicities have been amazing, we are generating such positive energy and people that things are happening as if by magic.
Leading me to believe that
"Anything is Possible!"
I'll keep you posted of our progress
Joolz xx
