What is Mercury Retrograde?

Annually there are 3 Mercury Retrogrades, lasting a combined 9 weeks,  in 2021 the first occurs Jan 30 - Feb 20.

Mercury Retrogrades is  when Mercury catches up with the Earth as it orbits the sun.  Its' close proximity to the Earth means that we loose perspective to Mercury, so much so that it appears that it is moving backwards or static in the zodiac sign.

Mercury Retrogrades in reality means that Mercury is occupying space in the sky that it has already been, and as such there sometimes appears to  be an sense of urgency.  During the retrograde one should slow down and realise that one has more time than one thinks, spend time make sure that all the I's are dotted & all the T's are crossed, and tie up loose ends.

The best and most successfull way to survive during Mercury Retrogrades is to pay attention to the details, take time to read and understand the fine print.
