This was a new experience for me, but when it comes to self promotion of Joolzery, I'm up for the challenge

I have met Maggie of By Naturally Maggie twice now, at the Pop up in the Palm House markets.

At the Summer PUPH event in August 2021, she brought a pair of my hot of the bench contemporary handmade sterling silver Jade drop earrings, which were so new I never got round to photographing them before I sold them.

A week or so later Maggie told me that she does a Sunday Brunch talking to other small independent businesses, about the reality of being a creative small business owner.

I have to say it peaked my interest, as I have been wondering how I can use instagram more effectively to connect with potential customers, like one of my suppliers, who uses Instagram Live weekly for sales.

I have been talking to other handmade jewellers around the country to see how we can use the platform to support each other, as well as other women more effectively and efficiently.

As I didn't know exactly what I was doing, we did a trial to see how it works and what I needed to do, a couple days before the online event.

On Sunday spent just over half an hour chatting about Joolzery,

• How it came into being,
• Why I do what I do,
• How I do what I do, and
• Any words of wisdom to other running and/or setting up their own businesses.
