In the UK, Mothers Day is on Sunday the 27th March 2022, whilst our American cousins celebrate this national holiday on the 2nd Sunday of May, which this year will be the 8th May.

Being a mother is no joke, and even more so in these times.

The relationship I had with my mother was an extremely tricky and challenging one, due to her not being really equiped to deal with my personality and character. 

That said she taught me all the tough lessons in life at a very young age, that has kept me in good stead, and dispite or inspite of her I am the person I am today, so I both thank and forgive her, as I understand she did her best with what she had.

That said being a mother is one of the most important roles of society and as children do not come with a manual, is the most difficult and rewarding thing in the world.
