Handcrafted Ring Collection II
Handcrafted Ring Collection II
It's time to get busy.....
My statement hand crafted sterling silver healing crystal rings was a hit last year, so much so that I only had 2 left on my website last month, so I knew this was something that I needed rectify pretty quickly.
I soon found that I had so many cabochons to choose from, with different shapes and sizes, along with some work in progress projects, that I couldn't decide whether they should be earrings, rings or pendants.
My design process is pretty flexible to say the least, but I knew over the Christmas period that I wanted to add more textures to my designs, and invested some of my sales money into texture hammers, which has lead me to experiment with different widths and thickness of the sterling silver ring shanks as part of the design.
For those who have been following me for awhile know that last year I had attempted, unsuccessfully I add, to master stamping to my jewellery making techniques. This has been quite frustrating for me, as how hard is it to hit a piece of metal with another piece of metal and a hammer, to leave a decent imprint?
Well I now know surprisingly, its not that easy, but I am nothing if not tenancious, and with a renewed determination I decided that this would be an ideal opportunity to get this skill licked:
Oval Larimar Textured Ring |
Teardrop Malachite Textured Ring |
Trapizoid Purpurite Stamped Ring |
Marquise Baltic Amber Stamped Ring |
