Amethyst is one of my best selling popular healing crystals for my jewellery, but because every jeweller will have this stone on their stalls, I decided to up my game with tripache amethyst.

I don't know whether its the colour but the easily recognisable Amethyst healing crystal is one of my best selling jewellery pieces.

Most know this stone due to its dark colour purple, but Amethyst comes in a range of colours including pink and green.

As it is such a common healing crystal I know that most jewellers will have amethyst jewellery of some sort on their stand, so I wanted to offer my customers something a little special and different, so when I was offered the tripache amethyst with the dark and light inclusions within the stone, I knew what fabulous jewellery I could make.

This is the second time I have made rings and pendants with tripache amethyst as the first time all 3 pieces sold out within days of them being made

I love the dark speckles of the amethyst in this stunning tripache amethyst ring, it's really mesmerising that I could get lost looking at this stone for hours:
 

When looking at this tripache amethyst cabochon I realised that it was too big to create a ring, so I created a pendant, but with it being round I thought I would add a bit more interest by creating an etched geometric setting. 

As the healing stone had some transparency to it I wanted thsi to be incorporated within the design so I cut out the back of the setting so that when held up to the light you could see all the gorgeous dark amethyst inclusions and matrix:
   

I love how these tripache amethyst pieces turned out, I think they are both versatile, bohochic and/or contemporary, sterling silver is such a gorgeous neutral metal that not only does not detract the natural beauty of the healing crystal, but actually amplifies the crystals energies and healing properties so what do you think?
