My healing crystal guilty pleasures this month

I really need to stop deceiving myself, every month I say I have more than enough gemstones and my gemstone collection is complete, and every month my suppliers prove me wrong!!!

A number of customers have been asking me for Opals recently, so when I was offered these gorgeous facetted triangular peruvian opal cabochons I just had to say yes.

Opal enhances cosmic consciousness and induces psychic and mystical visions, stimulates originality and dynamic creativity, and aids one to access and express ones true self.

Opal is an emotional stone and reflects the mood of the wearer, it intensifies emotions and releases inhibition, encouraging both freedom and independence.

A karmic healing stone opal is absorbant and reflective, it picks up feelings and thoughts, amplifies them before returning them back to the source, thus teaching what you put out comes back.

Although not normally a fan of black healing crystals, it seems I am currently going through a phase, as I have brought 3 different cuts of black Spinel cabochons.  I love the step facetted cut of these hexagons, which I think will lend itself to the geometric rings I have in the pipeline.

Spinel is a fabulous energy renewal and rejuvenation healing crystal, that provides encouragement during difficult times.  It activates the chakras and assists in the movement of kundalini energy up the spine.

Black spinel provides insights into material problems, and provides one with the stamina to continue.  It is a protective healing crystal that earths energy to balance the rise of the kundalini:

Moonstone, especially rainbow moonstone is one of my best selling healing crystals at the moment, so although it comes in different colours, such as cream, peach and white I though these black ones would make a dramatic change. 

Moonstone, is the healing stone of new beginnings, and is thought to grow stronger or weaker with the moons' cycle.  During full-moon it’s a very powerful stone for reconciling of love, and as the moon decreases, is said to allow person to foretell the future. In India it’s a sacred crystal for lovers.

A feminine stone for the inner-child, female issues and nurturing, but it can also be used by men who want to reach their female side and to understand dreams.

Moonstone is connected strongly with inuition and empathy, makes the unconscious conscious, and has been traditionally used to enhance ones psychic abilities.

These facetted babies will look fantabulous as rings and earrings, don't you think?

I have been looking for smaller Sunstone cabochons to make earrings and studs with, to go with the statement rings and pendants, so these round ones are perfect for a design I'm currently working on in my head.

Sunstone instills good nature, heightens intuition and allows ones real self to shine through happily.

It dissipates fearfulness, alleviates stress and increases vitality, encourages independence and originality.

Sunstone is especially helpful to those who have difficulty saying "No" to others.

Sunstone facilitates self-empowerment, independence and vitality. It acts as an ant-idepressant, increases self-worth and confidence.
