My healing crystal guilty pleasures this month

Finally I have gotten around to unpacking my shipment of healing crystal cabochons and beads that my supplier sourced directly fomr manufacturers and shipped from India, and was like a late Christmas present unwrapping all the fabulous pieces, that in some cases I had totally forgotten I had ordered!

All the cabochons are one off pieces and in the case of some, truly stunning pieces of natural art, that would look fabulous as pendants and/or rings.

Starting off with Bloodstone, how fabulous is this stone?

I think once its made into a pendant, it will draw a lot of attention to my stall at markets.

Bloodstone draws off negative environmental energy, helping to overcome influences such as geopathic or electromagnetic stress, it stimulates dreaming and is a powerful revitaliser, Giving one the courage whilst teaching  how to avoid dangerous situations.

Bloodstone encourages selflessness, idealism and assists in acting in the present moment.

Herkimer Diamonds, ok these are not diamonds, just encase there is any confusion, but double terminated quartz found in Herkimer, New York!

Now I'm not going to lie, I was a little bit disappointed with the size of these beads as they are quite small, so this will limit what I can make with them.

Metaphysically Herkimer Diamond is said to assist one with higher attunement, astral connections and to get one to a place of clarity.

An excellent healing stone for research and studying, as they are said to store knowledge.

Herkimer Diamonds is a stone of polarity so can aid in balancing work life with home life.

I have made a few pairs earrings with them, including combining them with Labradorite and Tanzanite to make drop earrings.  I have to say I am impressed how much they really sparkle when the light hits them.

So what attracted me to these stunning Emerald beads, you may ask?

To be honest with I just fell in love with the green vibrancy and life of these natural emerald beads, and the the contemporary geometric shape of the beads was a winner for me, as I am always on the lookout for the distinct.

Emerald is known as the 'stone of successful love', it is said to bring loyalty and provide for domestic bliss.

It enhances unconditional love, unity and promotes friendship, and keeps partnerships in balance and can signal unfaithfulness if it changes colour.

Emerald stimulates the heart chakra, having a healing effect on the emotions as well as the physical heart.

As soon as I saw the rough top Black Tourmaline cabochons, I knew exactly what I was going to make with them!!!

However as most things in life, especially with me, what I envisage and plan, and what happens in reality can invariably be 2 different things.

I was offered 2 sizes of rough top black tourmaline cabs, and I brought 4 of each, the larger sizes for pendants and the smaller sizes for rings, and I wanted then in geometric, marquis or irregular shapes.

Well as you can see I didn't get the shapes I wanted, but I can still make some rings with these babies, but the larger sizes only one was a rough top with this ridging effect, so I had to reject the other 3.

Black Tourmaline is a strong spiritual grounding gemstone, which activates the base chakra, balancing, harmonizing and protecting all the chakras, whilst balancing ones aura

This gemstone is sometimes called a Schorl, and is said to bring good luck and happiness, regardless of ones current circumstances, it is said to encourage optimism and happiness, by removing fear and boosting self confidence.
