When you don't know what to make, so you ask your Instagram followers...

I had this gorgeous round Dendritic Opal cabochon siting onmy jewellerr bench, but could not make up my mind what to make.

The last round cabochon I had I made a minimalist ring which sold at the next market I attended.

I wanted to make another ring, but didn't want to do the same thing twice.

I liked the idea of making a pendant as well, but was stuck on what to do with the design.

It was then that I hit on the genius idea of asking my followers on Instagram.

I cteated a simple pool using stories with the 2 options, and waited 24 hours for the results.

I'm not going to lie, secretly I was hoping that the results would be a ring, but my followers had other ideas....
 

With the results in how do I go about creating a statement penadnt with this gorgeous winter scene cabochon?

I wanted to elevate te design, without it clashing with the Dendritic Opal cabochon.

while playing around with somw designs, I hit on the idea of crating a fine silver bezel setting that was off centre with a little bit of detail on the side:
