As the customer is always right, I thought it was about time I added some traditional Tigers Eye jewellery to the mix.

Historically I have resisted the urge to have traditional tigers eye jewellery on my stall, by having black tigers eye, which I found more interesting, but as customers have been asking more and more for jewellery items made with this healing crystal I've decided to give in, by adding a few 5mm and 6mm brown/golden tigers eye studs to the mix.

I love the serrated setting as I think it sets off the chatoyancy of the stones, giving the studs a bit of attitude:

Always on the lookout for something new and different from what other jewellers are offering, and I do love a rough and raw healing stone, as I find their imperfections has hidden depth,  mesmerising and interesting, so when I was offered some rough top tiger eye cabochons, I just had to say yes, and couldn't wait to turn one into a statement ring:

One thing I noticed is that the rough stone has changed the chatoyancy that is usually very distinctive of Tigers Eye, it appears to be more fractured, which I think gives the stone a whole new characteristic.

Tigers Eye combines the energies of the sun and the earth, creating a high vibrational grounding state, by drawing the spiritual energies to the earth.

Tigers Eye can be used to release anxiety and fear and aid balance and harmony, it encourages one to take action, make clear logical informed decisions, without the hindrance of emotion, it exhibits the correct use of power and increases integrity.

This distinctively striking healing stone is an energy amplifier, which includes tha ability to boost any healing crystals that they are combined with.
