My latest shipment from India has landed on my door mat, but due to me concentrating on preparing for shows the previous 2 weekends, they are still in their boxes on the stairs, but it will give me something to do on the May Bank Holiday Monday.

That said, I have been having a real root around my stash of healing crystal beads to add to my collection of sterling silver wire wrapped  earrings for the stands, and have unearthed some real belters.

Starting with the Plum Blossom Tourmaline, also know as Rubellite in Quartz, which I find quite an interesting stone, with the matrix that gives you different degrees of light and dark due to the distribution of the Rubellite, some of the beads remind me of a raspberry ripple ice cream.

This is a transformation healing crystal, which activates the heart chakra, creating strong energy channels for purification and clearing, promoting inspiration and happiness, reducing fear and increasing self-confidence.

Those that know me, know that I am not a fan of black gemstones, as black is black and there's nothing more to the colour, so when I do go for a black stone, it's usually a rough top or druzy, which adds some interest.

These black Agate tubes intrigued me due to their markings that almost look tribal, and to be honest I haven't come across this stone before, which might be due to me not actively looking for it, even though it is the rarest colour of the Agates.

Like all black healing crystals, this a stone is highly grounding and fiercely protective, this is a wonderful stone for those who have lost a love one and is grieving, as it possess a soothing energy bringing inner peace to assist with the loss, and helps one get through the day.

Black Agate promotes positive feelings and independence, healing emotional damage, and provides the courage for one to overcome difficulties.

It is said that Black Agate gives one the motivation to chase ones dreams and not settle for a life of stress and boredom out of the fear of failure:

What can I say about these luscious Blue Apatite beads, the matrix is absolutely mesmerising, being blue it was already onto a winner, as this is my favourite colour, but I love the different shades and the random matrix makeup of the stones.

Blue Apatite is a motivational stone, activating the throat chakra, assisting ones independence and ambitiousness.

It is said to be a fabulous stone to use when public speaking, as it enhances group communication, improves concentration and memory skills, and is a good crystal for study purposes.

Blue Apatite is a deeply spiritual stone which assist in cleansing ones aura, especially in the mental body - the vibratory level associated with psychic perception and paranormal abilities.

Sunstone comes in various guises, the most common being the orange version, which although stunning with its inclusions that resemble  glitter, I wanted something with a bit of edge, I have come across some black sunstone, but its doesn't seem to have the same impact, so these gorgeous gold sunstone beads really did capture my imagination with the earring designs.

Sunstone is a healing crystal that instills good nature, heightens intuition and allows ones real self to shine through happily, whilst dissipating fearfulness, alleviating stress and increasing vitality.

This fabulous healing crystal encourages independence and originality.
