It seems that my healing crystal cabochon Indian supplier has really upped his game in the last couple of months, and has started sourcing some really interesting crystals, some of which I have been after for some time and those I haven't come across or heard off, as a result the credit card has been getting a bashing again.
How fabulous do these vivid graphical Amazonite cabochons look? They remind me of the stripes that you see on zebras.
Deriving its name from where it was originallty discovered, on the banks of the Amazon river, this a powerful filtering healing crystal, which is said to block geopathic stresses, absorbs cell phone emissions and microwaves, and provides electromagnetic protection.
On a mental level Amazonite filters any information that passes through the brain before combining with ones intuition.
Amazonite helps one to see both sides of a problem or different points of view, balances ones masculine and feminine energies, as well as ones many personalities. It assists in manifesting universal love, promoting kindness and practicality, and is is an excellent stone for artists and for men.
Jade has been on my cabochon wanted list for ever, previously I have been only been able to get it in beads and 10mm cabochons, until now.
These Nephrite Jade cabochons are from Australia, yes just like you I didn't know that Jade was mined there either, but the stones have been tested and certified.
It's structure is different from the Chinese Jade that I have seen and brought in the past, but I do like this matrix of different shades of pale green with the inclusions of white shimmers, its very interesting to look at under a loupe.
Jade is a symbol of serenity and purity, it signifies wisdom gathered in tranquility, increases love and nurturing, a protective stone, keeping the wearer from harm and brings harmony.

Stichtite is one of those healing crystals that I have not come across before, so when it came up I initially thought it was Charoite, as they have a similar purple black matrix, so had to do a bit of research to find out a bit more about these stones, as the colour really caught my eye.
A powerful protective stone, facilitating the movement of the Kundalini energy up the spine to the heart, Stichtite encourages one to manifest ones true self and live in accordance to ones present life soul contract.
It is said that Stichtite assists in keeping ones mind, opinions and emotional awareness acutely tuned, as this healing stone teaches how negative emotions and ingrained behaviours affects ones well-being, and supports one during this process.

Dragon Blood Jasper is one of my best selling healing crystals when I make jewellery with them, so when they became available as cabochons, it would have been rude not to reach for the credit card.
Jasper is a strong protection gemstone, which comes in a myriad of colors. All colors of Jasper will help balance the vibrations of the body, and is know as the supreme nurturer as it sustains and supports one during times of stress, bringing wholeness anf tranquility.
So just to confuse us mere mortals, Dragon Blood Jasper is not actually a Jasper but a member of the Chalcedony Quartz family and is a healing stone made up of green Epidote and red Piemonite.
It is said that this is THE healing stone for those wishing to embark on spiritual journeys to seek deeper fulfillment due to its remarkable ability to instill a strong sense of passion, curiosity, and courage.
The courage gained from the Dragon Blood Jasper opens one up to opportunities of spiritual growth, as it encourages one to walk our talk as one solves ones problems.
