I sold the rough top labradorite ring I made at the LivingWell Festival, so thought that this would be a perfect opportunity to create 3 more rings

It's been really hard to source some ring size rough top labradorite, but my supplier managed to get some on her last gemstone buying trip to India.

Because of this I wanted to test the market, to see how popular these types of rings would be, and made a ring with around electric blue flash, which sold at th LivingWell Festival, so I thought this would be an ideal opportunity to make a few more pieces.

I sorted the small stash of rough top labradorites looking at the flashes, and picked 3, 2 round and 1 marquise shaped cabochons, guided by my inner magpie.

With all my Labradorite stone settings, I am tending to use my star stamps, because Labradorite stones as it is a transformation healing stone, a crystal of magic, so what is more magical than stars and galaxies, and keeping to the standard round ring shank

Unlike the polished labradorites these rough tops flashes are more subtle, but strikingly stunning and dramatic:

My favourite cabochon shape to create jewellery with, especially rings is the marquise, and when you combine this with my favourite colour in this mysterious dark shade then you know you're onto a winner:

 
The third of the rough top labradorite cabochons had a purple blue flash, which is quite a rare find, and I wanted to really make the stone pop, as I was going to oxidise rainbow moonstone ring, I thought I'll make it worth me while with the stink of the Liver of Sulphur that I use to oxidise the metal:
