With major markets and fairs in the pipeline, I had to put my big gal pants on and knuckle down as I wanted to create a new limited edition of Fordite jewellery, especially cufflinks as customers had been asking for gifts for the men in their lives, in time for the Oxton Art Fair.

With most thing with my jewellery design, the process is prety flexible and fluid, and I was swapping between earrings and cufflinks for the square and trillion shaped Fordite cabs, but in the end I decided to make 3 pairs of cufflinks, and settled on a chained design.

As per usual things didn't go to plan, and a couple of times I managed to solder the chain to it self, so had the painful process of desoldering from the base or sawing through the chain to start again.

As I was making the chain component of the cufflink, I added a bit of Joolzery panache:

The top ones with the lime green, have been claimed already, which is good as they so nearly became earrings.

Talking about earrings, I made 3 pairs including these striking lime green diamond version, which I was umming and ahhing whether they would be better as cufflinks, both are these are now in their forever homes:

And to finish off the limited edition Fordite Collection I added a few pendants and rings, including these set with complimentary patterns:

The ring has since been brought by a customer who loved the story behind the Fordite process, and thought was a one-off piece of art, even though he had no idea who the ring would fit.

Sounds like its goin to have the Cinderella treatment
