6 Healing Crystals for Love
6 Healing Crystals for Love
February marks the month of Love, in all its forms.
Traditionally we celebrate St Valentines Day on the 14th, originally a Christian feast day honouring a martyr named Valentine and through later folk traditions, it has also become a significant cultural, religious and commercial celebration of romance and love around the world.
There are a number of legends associated with various Saint Valentines connected to the 14th February, including a version where Saint Valentine of Rome was imprisoned for ministering to Christians persecuted under the Roman Empire in the 3rd century and according to an early tradition, Saint Valentine restored sight to the blind daughter of his jailer.
Numerous later additions to the tales are better related it to the theme of love and tradition including the version where Saint Valentine performed weddings for Christian soldiers who were forbidden to marry by the Roman emperor, with an 18th-century embellishment to the legend that claims that he wrote to the jailer's daughter a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell before his execution.
Galentines day primarily celebrates friendships between women, a day of empowerment and a reminder for women to support and uplift one another, Ladies celebrating Ladies, usually on the 13th, but it can be any day in February before the 14th.
Galentines became a thing on the 11th Feburary 2010 from Parks and Recreation tv series, in an attempt to find a new friend when a characters' long term BFF left. It has since evolved into an inclusve celebration of all kinds of friendships and platonic love, including men and non-binary, single, taken, complicated and anything in between.
Here are some of my favourite healing crystals for all types of relationships, typically green or pink stones activates the heart chakra:
Wishing you all a fabulous Month of LOVE
