Mothers' Day in the UK falls on the 10th March this year

Mother daughter relationships can be tricky at best, and unfortunately due to family circumstances I didn't have the closest or best relationship with mine, but because of her and all the Mother figures that I had growing up in my informative years, I am the person you are lucky enough to have met, love and/or know today.

Being the first born, I was the prototype of parenting in my family, so you'll experience the best and the worst as children do not come with a manual or handbook, everyone is just winging it and for my mother she did this in a strange/foriegn country with very little family support.

In my case, if there was a rule book, it would have been of little use being an independent, strong willed, curious, critical thinker child who looked the social restrictions, boundaries and constructs in the face and said good luck with that!!! A natural born outlier, outsider and maverick who beats to her own drum.

My mother is no longer around, but for those who are lucky to still have her in their lives here are a few healing crystals that say Thank you Mum!!!
