In the UK we celebrate Fathers Day on the 3rd Sunday of June, so this year that will be the 16th June.

A daddies girl myself, I find this day particularly poignant, and difficult, as that last time I saw my father was when I was  4.5 years old, and I thought I had all the time in the world, but I was not to know that he would die 10 years later.

I feel the missed opportunties to get to know him, and spend valuable time with him, but as well as looking like him, all my creative and scientific interests and talent comes from him.

Although I have no father figures are on this realm or plane with me, I do feel their presence around me, loving, guiding, protecting and sometimes shaking their heads, asking where did this one come from, wih some of my antics and shenanigans?
