Makers Central 2024
Makers Central 2024
This has to be my favourite event of the year, as it brings together from around the globe so many creatives, makers, big Youtube influencers and some much innovation and inspiration
I have to say this year wasn't as good as last year, as the organisers changed things up a little, and there seemed to be a heavy slant towards 3D printing.
This naturally set off the debate if you're 3D printing your creations are you a maker and do you loose some of the creative authencity by not hand building/crafting the make?
The first thing that greeted you when entering Hall 2 was this Batmobile, although I'm not sure if it's road legal, and if it is, how it's going to handle the myriad of potholes that are currently plaguing the UK roads and motorways:
Like last year I created a new limited collection of Fordite pieces, as they were very popular, and so I launched my latest creations.
Joolzery Stand following setting up and adding the handcrafted jewellery
Whilst setting up the Joolzery stand, this little guy paid a visit:
Is it true that everything looks better in black?
I took the quiet time before the show opened to check out what else was going on at Makers Central, including the robotics exhibits and stands:
And the other stalls within the Makers Market:
If the dates work, I'm hoping to be back for Makers Central in 2025, so until next time:
