Summer is my favourite season of the year, and unfortunately all good things must coe to an end, although I am hopeful for an Indian Summer!!!!

This equinox signifies the start of Autumn in the Northern hemisphere, Spring in the Southern hemisphere, and the Northern Lights, and In a bygone era the autumn equinox marked the start of the new year.

On this day, in a moment in time, the earth is perfectly aligned sideways to the sun resulting in almost equal day and night lengths worldwide.
