Celebrated from the 1st - 2nd February, Imbolc is the Celtic festival of Mid Winter

Imbolc is the mid point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox), also know as Candlemas, derived from the old Irish, means in the belly, referring to the stirring of life in the earth and in pregnant ewes.

A festival of fire and fertility, Imbolc celebrates the return of longer days and the first signs of Spring.

Imbolc is a time for:

• Welcoming back the light,
• Letting go of what feels stagnant or heavy,
• Feeding the fire of inspiration within you,
• Planting seeds for what you want to create/achieve, and
• Trusting that growth begins, even if unseen
