Welcome to Joolzery
Hi welcome to my brand spanking, and sparkling, new sterling silver wire and semi-precious handmade jewellery web site.
Thank you for visiting this web site, this business has been in the pipeline for the last 10 years, although I was not really fully aware of it, as I only decided 3 months ago to set this business up properly.
It combines both my love of unique alternative jewellery, and the properties of the semi-precious gem stones, to create something that is simply beautiful, but has some substance and reason behind it.
I am completely self taught, and have just been guided by my inspiration and my intuition, but I am loving the challenge of just being free to design something from the heart.
As well as showing my designs, I will also share my learning experiences, commonly known as growing pains, challenges and inspiration.
But I must also thanks those who have enabled me to get to this point.
I firstly have to thank my mentees, I currently mentor 4 businesses for the Prince's Trust, who are all in the creative sector, in different guises. I started working with these individuals around Oct - Dec 2012, and I think sub-conciously their influences have rubbed off on me, and let my creative side run riot.
Secondly I would like to thank my friends, you know who you are, who are always there to support, and when I needed a sounding board they were not only there to give me encouragement, but also some realistic honest and open opinions and advice.
Thirdly I would like to thank my design team, consisting of web designer Liam, from SpiderWS, who I must have at least driven to distraction, if not produced a few more grey hairs, with my demands to turn my vision to the fully functional web site we see today.
I also have to thank my graphic designer and printers, Kingfisher Design & Print, for both designing the logo, and creating one of the most sexy business cards I have seen in a long time, I know I am biased, but they really are nice.
Finally, I have to thank my father, who although is no longer on this plain, I can still hear his words of encouragment, "You can do anything you put your mind to", and with all the frustrations and disappointments through setting up this new business, at no point, did I ever believe I could not do it.
Plus he was creative with his hands, making fantastic things out of wood and clay, so I knew I have access to is some creative genes to play a round with, I just had to let them come out and play.
But most of all I want to thank you for visiting my web site, and spending the time to read this blog post.
I hope you enjoy the web site
Joolz
