According to Vogue, the hottest trend for Summer 2015 is the colour purple.

When I say the colour purple I am of course referring to the colour and not the book made popular by the film featuring Oprah Winfrey!

Luckily for me, that means a whole host of fabulous semi precious gemstones to choose from, especially as the spectrum of purple, which is derived from a mixture of the colours red and blue, so I have also decided to include lavendar, lilac and violet gemstones in my selection.
